In my previous post we talked about website creation (blog) on Blogger. As you can see this is quite simple. Then we have a question. How to promote our website? How to get traffic? There are a lot of methods how to get traffic on your website.
Let's talk about SEO
1. SEO, Search Engine Optimization. What is it? SEO it's one of the method of getting traffic on your website. SEO is needed in order to rank your website to the top positions of SE (search engine). The main purpose of SEO is promotion of the site and attraction traffic on it. The higher your site in a search engine, the more traffic you get. The more traffic you get, the more chances for successful monetization of the site.

Internal optimization

Meta Title is one of the most important tags for search engines. Website without this tag couldn't be on the top position.
What should be added?
It depends on the subject of your page. For instance your page is about earnings on the Internet.
Example: <title>Earnings on the Internet</title>
How to add?
In the HEAD section of your HTML code add <title>Your-Title-Name</title>
Important: You should necessary use keywords in Meta Title. Title length should be 50-100 characters. Title of each page should be unique. If you want to use the name of your site, then separate it by dash (-), ex: Your-Title-Name - Yoursite.com
B. Description and keywords
Description and keywords meta tags are optional, but they should be used.
For example, Google takes the description, which is added on the site to use it as a snippet.
Snippet is a small text information related to the site, which is displayed in search results.
Example:<meta name="description" content="Earnings on the Internet is the best way to gain freedom.">
There should be H1-H6 headers in your content. H1 tag must be used only once and
it would be better if it contains the keyword. H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6 must be
used in subtitles.
Example: <H1>How to earn money on the Internet</H1>
D. Keywords highlighting
Keywords can be highlighted with using tags strong, b and i. Don't highlight many words, two or three is enough. Too many highlighted words can prevent the visitor to read the information on your site and he can leave.
E. Keywords in content
There should be keywords and synonyms for these keywords and phrases in content. Content should be unique and interesting for visitors, the more interesting content, the more visitors you have on your website.
F. Length of post
Length of post should be 400 - 800 characters.
Don't do very small posts on page, but also not too large. This is not strong rule, just advice based on personal experience. Try to add images in your post. Your post will be more attractive with using images.
G. Internal linking
Internal linking means when one post leads to another, ie when internal site page contains links to other posts by the same resource. The best way when site links lead directly from content and have respective anchor.

H. Make semantic URL's
Example of semantic URL: sitename.com/payment/how-to-create-payoneer-account
Bad example, do not do it!: sitename.com/section123/?i=inform&m=means&result=how-make-it
I. ALT for pictures
To every image on your site has to be added ALT. ALT is a description to image. This is needed in order to get additional traffic from Google images.

Why should we buy backlinks to your website? When search engines, such as Google, see that some links refer to your website, it become more quality and useful. Therefore your resource will be rise to the top positions of search engines. However this is not recommended to buy a lot of links at once, because search engine bots feel that you're trying to improve the position of your site fraudulently and positions will be fall down. You should buy backlinks only on thematic resources. For example, if your blog about cancer treatment, you should buy backlinks on medical portals.
B. Links exchange
Try to find websites with similar thematic and write their owner with proposal to exchange links. This is a quite popular method, especially at the initial stage of promotion.
